Diabetes is a serious condition that, if left untreated or poorly managed, can lead to complications such as heart disease, stroke, kidney damage, nerve damage, and vision problems. Therefore, it's important for individuals with diabetes to work closely with healthcare professionals to develop a personalized treatment plan that includes regular monitoring of blood sugar levels, a healthy diet, regular physical activity, and, if necessary, medication or insulin therapy.
